• Make sure your baker's business is licensed by the State of Florida and that he/she is working from a kitchen that has passed inspections by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Health. Florida law requires that all baked goods are manufactured in a licensed kitchen that is regularly inspected.

• Know exactly how many guests you will be hosting and always add a few extra slices to your order in case additional guests show up.

• Place your order at least one week prior your event.

• Provide your baker with the correct spelling of names.

• Provide your baker with correct delivery time, delivery address, contact name, and a working telephone number where you can be reached.

• Our slices begin at $6.00 each including any flavor, any filling per tier from those in our list.  Per cake etiquette a slice should be 1" wide x 2" long x 4" high but our slices are usually larger than that :-)  The content of liquid or juice can affect how much your cake grows and how tall we can go on each tier so make sure to ask us which flavors grow more.

• Deliveries are available for birthdays (at an additional cost) in the following areas: Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, and Marco Island.  Deliveries begin at $50.00 including setup.

Before placing your order please take the following into consideration:

• Call the baker of your choice to make an appointment for a cake tasting.

• Bring samples of fabric and wedding colors to your appointment.

• When using fresh flowers to decorate your wedding cake make sure you discuss with your florist the importance of them being pesticide free. Also make sure to ask your baker for a copy of the list of flowers that are considered poisonous for placement on cakes (i.e. lily of the valley, etc.), this way you can share the information with your florist and find other floral alternatives.

• Try to choose a flavor that everybody will enjoy. "I believe that since you are paying for the cake, taking this into consideration will make you feel better about the money you are spending".

• When ordering a spooned sauce from your baker, please make sure to ask for additional china from the vendor you are renting them from. This will ensure everything matches your decor.

• Know exactly how many guests you will be hosting and always add a few extra slices to your order in case additional guests show up unconfirmed. "I recommend adding between five and ten additional slices".

• Our slices begin at $6.00 each including any flavor, any filling per tier from those in our list.  Per cake etiquette a slice should be 1" wide x 2" long x 4" high but our slices are usually larger than that :-)  We use real fruit juice on some of our cakes which makes these specific flavors grow a little less than others, so if you are interested in a tall cake, make sure to ask us which flavors grow more.

• "Feel free to ask me about money saving options. I will work with you and assist you in finding ways to stay within your budget and still accomplish a design you are proud of and comfortable with".

• If you are interested in a groom's cake or would like to talk about options, let me know at our initial meeting so that I may assist you with ideas.  Leaving it for later may not guarantee that we are still able to assist as other orders may have come through for that same day.

• Place your order at least two to three months prior your event.  Still call us as we may have openings up to a few weeks prior your event.

• Provide your baker with the correct spelling of names and last names.

• Provide your baker with the correct date of the event, delivery time, delivery address, contact name, and a working telephone number where you can be reached.

• When able, provide a detailed map with directions for the event location.

• Make any changes to your contract in writing and keep the most updated copy for your records.

• Delivery time and setup should be at least two hours before the event.

• Deliveries are available for weddings (at an additional cost) in the following areas: Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, and Marco Island.  Deliveries begin at $50.00 including setup.
